PD Should Rock

A Microsite About Reimagining Professional Development

We were hired by education design lab 2Revolutions to help them tell the story of how the organization approaches educator professional development. 2Revolutions works with schools and districts from around the country to improve and innovate schools in big ways — and they believe if you want school to look different for young people, the adults in the building need to have those experiences in their own professional learning. We took the work they have done over the years and helped them create visuals and a digital story that they can use with future partners to explain why educator professional development should rock.

Illustrations & Design

A good portion of this project was spent considering how to take ideas and make them into illustrations that would simply and effectively explain in what ways professional development should change.

Why, How & Stories

The digital site outlines why professional development should shift, how, and highlights a few stories of 2Rev clients that are doing this work now. To write these sections, our team interviewed 2Rev team members and reviewed research and data about the work.
