New Hampshire Voices

After seeing the Assessment for Learning Project Student Voices Exhibit, the New Hampshire Learning Initiative, an organization in New Hampshire that supports schools in improving learning practices, was so moved by the experience they wanted to do it for themselves. They hired our team to make it happen. We collected and edited audio footage, edited photos, and designed the exhibit. We staged it at their large symposium attended by educators and leaders from across New Hampshire. After its first debut, the installation was staged for a second time at the New Hampshire School Administrators Conference and there are plans to stage it at New Hampshire’s state house.

Guests spent portions of the day exploring the exhibit and listening to the voices.

“The installation was absolutely a highlight for participants. I cannot think of a better way to have kicked this opportunity off for our educators than through the stunning visual and auditory display that Gather&Create created for us.”

— Jonathan G. Vander Els, Director of Innovative Projects, NHLI

“Throughout the whole process, your team was professional, personable, and kept us on track in providing our participants with an experience that they will never forget. Your talent, creativity, and understanding of the nuanced use of words, pictures, and sound is exceptional. The installation is something that we will be able to utilize in the future to ground the work we are all engaged in where it should be; through the voices of those we serve...our students.”
